On the quest to shave weight and space in every item on our trips, we found the perfect dog bowls in the Sea to Summit Frontier Collapsible Dinnerware Set. They’re tough, ultra lightweight and collapse flat for compact packing. How flat? Each bowl gets down to a thickness of 2cms. Collapsed and stacked on top of each other they barely take up space.
Most silicone dog bowls are pretty flimsy so we’ve moved to human silicone bowls for their durability. We have other Sea to Summit bowls, but we found the Frontier range to be tougher and more durable. The Frontier bowls are made with a combination of silicone and 30% glass-reinforced nylon 66 which explains why it’s tough and light at the same time.
The bowls are curved to effectively make it easier to scoop up food, which also makes it easy for hungry snoots to snap up every last bit of kibble and freeze-dried food. The large (890ml) and the medium (680ml) bowls sit at a perfect height for the dogs to eat from. Once done, it’s easy to clean or rinse and pack away again.
It’s BPA-free and EU food grade, making it safe for human consumption. If it’s good for us – it’s good for Chino, Kira and Indie.
I can confidently say we have the trendiest outdoor dog bowls that happen to be in the Dogpacking Australia colours – it couldn’t be more perfect.
